Maharashtra election came and big fight happened. Many leaders got angry because they did not get seat they wanted. So they left party and went to other parties. Same thing happened in Mira Bhayander. Arun Kadam, who was big leader of NCP (Ajit Pawar group) in Mira Bhayander, got upset and decided to fight election alone, without any party.

Why Arun Kadam Fought Alone?
Arun Kadam was district president of NCP but party did not give him ticket. So he got angry and said “Fine! I will fight election myself.” He had press meeting and told everyone he would win no matter what.
What Problems Arun Kadam Wanted to Solve?
At press meeting, Arun Kadam said many big problems were making life bad for people in Mira Bhayander.
Water Problem
People got water only after three days and still not enough.
Water bills had doubled but still no proper water supply.
Too Much Tax But No Good Service
15 years ago tax was low. Now, it became three times more.
But roads, hospitals and services got worse, not better.
No Proper Government Hospital
Only one government hospital in the area.
That hospital also had no proper doctors, no treatment.
Arun Kadam said, “We need one big, good hospital so people don’t have to run to other cities for treatment.”
Too Many Illegal Street Vendors
Government made special area for street vendors but still many vendors sold everywhere.
Traffic got worse because of this.
Arun Kadam said “Some vendors are old and had right to sell but others were illegal. We needed to fix this problem.”
Angry at Builders and Politicians Working Together
Arun Kadam talked against big builders and politicians, saying they worked together and stole all the water. He said “Go and check! All big buildings got full water but common people suffered.” He promised to stop this water loot if he won.
Who Was Arun Kadam’s Biggest Enemy in Election?
Arun Kadam said BJP was the main competitor. He said he would talk to normal people, listen to them and win their trust.
Fighting Against Drugs in Mira Bhayander
Kadam said “Young kids are getting trapped in drugs. This is very dangerous! We cannot allow this!” But he also said one man could not stop it alone, and society must fight this problem together.
Arun Kadam Said: ‘I Will Win!’
At the press meeting, Kadam said, “I am fighting this election and I will win!” He also said he would fill his election form on 28th of that month, and invited media and public to watch.
A Leader for Everyone
Many politicians liked big titles and showing off power but Kadam said he was not interested in fancy names. He wanted to be a normal leader who stayed close to people, like a family member.
Arun Kadam entered the big fight for Mira Bhayander seat. Did he win? That was for the voters to decide! But one thing was sure—this election was very interesting!
