Mr. Syed Muzaffar Hussain is a well-experienced politician from the Indian National Congress (INC). He is from Mira-Bhayandar in Thane district, Maharashtra. He was born on August 26 1966.
Political Career
In 1985 he joined the Youth Congress as a worker. That’s where he began his journey in politics. Then in 1991, he got elected as a Corporator in the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Council. But later in 2002, when the Municipal Corporation was formed, he became the first-ever Deputy Mayor of the city. So, he was there from the beginning.
Then, we come to his bigger role in Maharashtra’s politics. From 2004 to 2009, he became a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council (MLC). But then again, in 2010, he got re-elected and served another term until 2016. So he was in the legislative body for two full terms.
But that’s not all. He also held some big positions inside the INC. From 1999 to 2004, he was the President of Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress.
