We know that Sanjay Upadhyay is a political leader from Bhartiya Janata party. He is coming from Maharashtra state and he is mostly doing his political work from Mumbai area.
He is now elected as mla from Borivali assembly seat in year 2024. That Borivali area is one strong place of bjp party from many years and now this man Sanjay got ticket and won from there. He is also working as secretary for bjp Maharashtra from some years and party gave him same post again after finishing first time.
Education and background
Mr. Sanjay is also an educated person and he is having science background. He is completing BSc in physics in year 1993 and after that he is doing MSc in physics in year 1996 from Wilson college Mumbai.
So he is not just normal political person but also good in studies. We also find that he is having experience of party work in many places and states. That means he is not new person in bjp but he is doing work from long time inside party.
How he came into politics
Now we try to know he came in politics. His father Bhagwati prasad Upadhyay was very close to rss and he was Swayamsevak from long back. Because of that rss connection, Sanjay was going to shakha when he was only six years old.
So from small age he is getting sanskar of sangh and bjp ideology. After that he became full time worker in party and started doing various type of responsibilities.
His election and result
So in 2024, bjp party removed old mla Sunil Rane and gave ticket to Sanjay Upadhyay for Borivali seat. That time some local people were not happy because they wanted old mla again, but still party gave chance to Sanjay.
After that he did campaign and worked hard and then he won the election. He got more than one lakh votes and he defeated shiv sena ubt candidate Sanjay Bhosale by big margin. So that was big win for him even in first time.
What problems he will face now
But now after winning he is having many problems in borivali area. That area is having traffic jams, no proper parking system, sewage treatment plants are slow, some development roads are pending from long time.
People are also complaining that no good college or big hospital is there. Also many slum areas are waiting for sra scheme from 20 years but nothing is happening. So people want that he should do real work now and solve these things.
What post he is having now
Now after becoming mla, his party also gave him work to monitor bmc election preparation. So bjp gave him charge of north central Mumbai and told him to look into ward wise problems and election plan.
So he is also doing that work for party and meeting with local ward level people for coming bmc election.
His money and legal cases
Now we see about his property and legal matter. He is declaring around five crore rupees in asset and around forty lakh in loan or liability. He is showing that he is having movable asset around two crore and rest is property and land.
Summary
So finally we can say that Mr. Sanjay Upadhyay is full-time bjp person who came from rss background and became mla from Borivali in 2024 for first time.
He is educated, loyal to party, and also having some legal matter pending. People are expecting that now he should do work in Borivali area and improve real things like road, college, parking, water and all that. Also he is working in party planning for bmc election. So now we have to wait and see how he is performing in real field.
